I have to admit, the original idea for these Snickers® Truffles was not mine. We had a family party and I needed to bring something for dessert. I was not in the mood to bake at all. It happens occasionally. So my husband suggested that I do something with the Snickers® that we had stashed in a drawer. You know, for emergencies. I pulled out the four candy bars that we had and looked at him like, what? My default is cake and cookies. It’s just who I am. His thought was, why not truffles?
He really is quite brilliant. Once he said truffles, a light bulb went off in my head. Less than thirty minutes later, these truffles were ready to go and when they disappeared at the party, I knew we had a winner.
All you need to do is cut up the candy, roll the rough edges, and dip them in chocolate. Add a little extra chocolate drizzle for presentation and you have a pretty little treat for your party.
Beautiful for any occasion and easy enough for weeknight treats, these Snickers® Truffles are a delicious surprise.

- Cut each Snickers® into 4 equal pieces.
- Roll or pinch pieces to round off edges.
- Microwave chocolate chips, 30 seconds at a time, stirring in between until melted.
- Add vegetable oil to melted chocolate, stirring until well combined.
- Using a pair of forks or inverted spatulas, dip each truffle into the melted chocolate, turning to coat all sides well.
- Place on wax paper to set until dry to the touch.
- If using white chocolate, once the chocolate is set, knock off any extra, dried chocolate before coating the truffles a second time. Place on wax paper again to set until dry to the touch. If decorating with sprinkles, while chocolate is still wet, sprinkle decorations across the top of each truffle.
- If decorating with drizzle, melt chocolate chips, 30 seconds at a time, stirring in between each time until melted.
- Add vegetable oil to bowl, stirring until well combined.
- Using a fork or spoon, drizzle melted chocolate over dry truffles in your desired pattern. Allow chocolate to set completely before carefully knocking off any extra chocolate.
